For example, I’ll bet you didn’t know that you could get up-to-the second updates of Style.com directly to your iPhone without visiting their site, or that you could see Chanel’s entire collection in a few seconds. Below, I’ll go through my discovery of some iPhone fashion features, illustrated by images directly from my iPhone.

Style.com iPhone App (Free)

Style.com’s iPhone application is hands down the best iPhone application I have ever used… especially for fashion enthusiasts and bloggers. You can get up-to-the-minute updates, pictures and videos on ever major collection! I’m not kidding… it’s a powerful application, especially indispensable during Fashion Week.

First I downloaded the application to my iPhone from the iTunes Application Store and synced it to my iPhone… it showed up on my home screen (top right corner).

When I clicked on the application, it took about two seconds to load.

Once I was into the home application, I had choices to see the latest images from Spring 2009, view all shows from Spring 2009, view Fall 2008 couture from Paris, read the latest updates from the StyleFile Blog, or view Style Videos.

I clicked on the first option to view the latest collection and it gave me an extensive list of all designer shows available.

I clicked on Alexander McQueen and images from his entire collection showed up… clicking on a thumbnail launches the slide show.

Amazing, right?

Chanel Haute Couture Show F/W 08/09 (Free)

This iPhone application gives you every possible highlight of Chanel’s Fall-Winter 08/09 Haute Couture show. To get the application on my phone, I first downloaded it on iTunes and synced it to my iPhone (bottom left icon).

Once I clicked on it, it took about one second to load and the home screen comes up where I have a choice to view the show, see looks and accessories, view Chanel news, or locate a store.

I choose Chanel News and when it loads I have instant access to Chanel News directly from Chanel.

In lieu of those points, sometimes I jump for joy when I run across people who are finally getting the picture. Life! has launched a line of the cutest cases for your cameras and laptops that are stylish, cute, and will fit into any fashion style. The best part about the laptop totes is that each one has these little compartments to hold your iPods, keys, pens, and other things which allows me not to be forced to carry a laptop and a purse to a business meeting. But don’t just take my word; a representative from Life! explains the versatility of the designs:

This cute studded design comes in black or pink with a lanyard and a belt loop for easy handling on the go.

The Ambrosia 15.4 Laptop Tote

Cute and stylish bag! I love it because the main compartment zips instead of using the same lame velcro or buckle like other bags. It’s also versatile enough to be used as a laptop tote/purse because of all the compartments. There is an internal zip pocket, dog clip for keys, a space for your phone, a space for you iPod, two pen slots, and three slots for your important cards (driver’s license, credit card, etc.).

Acacia 15.4 Laptop Sleeve

For those days that you don’t feel like replacing your D&B for a laptop bag, a laptop sleeve is a lightweight exception. It has a zip and buckle, it’s padded, and it has comfy straps… plus it’s really cute.

There are many more designs at the Life! website that can fit your personal style. But be warned… there are not a lot of summer designs or bright colors.
