<description><![CDATA[Indie Fashion Addict Danielle runs down the latest accessory trend: harnesses.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The hottest thing on <a href="http://www.etsy.com">Etsy</a> at the moment are harnesses. Not the kind you strap your puppy into, or the slightly ruder kind, but a new kind of harness. A &#8220;fashion&#8221; harness if you will.</p>
<p>These harnesses can be worn over barely-there tops or body-conscious dresses. For a more interesting look, try one layered over flowing dresses and baggy t-shirts.</p>

<p>Edgy, feminine, understated, avant-garde harnesses can be anything you dress them up to be.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Ice Queen Cate reveals the hottest jewelry colors for fall.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Light up your new fall look with jewelry the color of a classic autumn landscape. From bright orange sapphires to chocolaty smokey quartz, to vibrant peridot gems, you can drape yourself in the same fiery shades that ignite millions of leaves every fall. Pretty hot and tempting, I’d say.</p>
<p>At the warmer end of the spectrum, you’ll find citrines, orange garnets (also known as spessartites) and gorgeous orange sapphires. Fulfill your heart’s desire with a sun-kissed<a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533610&amp;type=10&amp;subid="> orange sapphire heart pendant</a> that is as affordable as it is stunning.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533610&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/P/S/Y/1/PSY_102711_b_l-5_12_Carat_Orange_Sapphire_Sterling_Silver_Heart_Pendant_w_Chain.jpg" alt="Orange Sapphire Sterling Silver Heart Pendant" /></a></p>
<p>Should you want to highlight the earthier shades of the palette, look for smokey quartz, tiger’s eye or mocha-colored diamonds. My suggestion: a fabulously regal <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533617&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">smokey quartz, citrine and diamond cocktail ring</a> that is sure to showcase your flair for high fashion.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533617&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/R/C/C/1/RCC_018191_b_l-4_12_Carat_Smokey_Quartz_Citrine_and_Diamond_14K_Yellow_Gold_Ring.jpg" alt="Smokey Quartz Citrine Diamond Ring" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-1690"></span></p>
<p>Finally, if you want to infuse your wardrobe with a hint of green, try olive quartz or peridot jewelry designs. These delicate <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533623&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">briolette-cut peridot dangle earrings</a> are the perfect choice for a subtle splash of color.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.782533623&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/E/C/C/5/ECC_100445_b_l-3_Carat_Drop_Peridot_Huggie_Earrings_14K_White_Gold.jpg" alt="Peridot White Gold Earrings" /></a></p>
<p>Brace yourselves, though, because the fall 2009 jewelry trends don’t end with these classic fall colors. Oh, may the jewelry gods have mercy on your stylish souls: there is much, much more to come. Stay tuned for trend #2…</p>

<description><![CDATA[Black diamonds (the affordable kind) are a fashion must-have for the style-savvy woman.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Black diamonds are the essence of contemporary elegance and have become more popular than ever on today’s fashion scene – most notably since Victoria’s Secret’s release of the ultra luxurious 2008 Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra®. </p>
<p>But don’t let such razzle-dazzle blind you into thinking you must spend millions ($5,000,000 to be exact) to sparkle in the spotlight. Listed below are a few stunning and way more affordable black diamond jewelry alternatives that are sure to enhance your look.</p>
<p>Start off your black diamond collection (because it will turn into one before you know it) with a pair of classic <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162728&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">princess-cut black diamond studs</a>. They are understated yet refined, so you can wear them from business hour to happy hour, to late-night delight.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162728&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/E/D/S/8/EDS_100218_b_l-12_Carat_Princess_Cut_Black_Diamond_14K_White_Gold_Studs.jpg" alt="black diamond stud earrings" /></a></p>
<p>On those hot nights out on the town, complement your little black dress with an eye-catching <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162729&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">black diamond fashion ring</a>: a unique design that will reflect even the dimmest evening lights from every angle.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162729&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/R/S/Y/8/RSY_100838_b_l-12_Carat_Black_and_White_Diamond_Sterling_Silver_Ring_w_Black_Rhodium.jpg" alt="Black Diamond Ring" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-1644"></span></p>
<p>If you are into heart designs, treat yourself to a truly exquisite <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162731&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">black and white diamond heart pendant</a>. This piece is one you will treasure forever, so it’s well worth the indulgence.</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162731&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/P/D/H/8/PDH_018468_b_l-14_Carat_White_and_Black_Diamond_14K_White_Gold_Heart_Pendant_wChain.jpg" alt="Black Diamond White Diamond Heart Pendant" /></a></p>
<p>And if you are willing to splurge on something spectacular – and I mean SPECTACULAR – indulge in a show-stopping <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162730&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">1-carat black and white diamond ring</a>. This stunner will have you reveling in your own fabulousness (and make lots and lots of women develop ring envy).</p>
<p><a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.781162730&amp;type=10&amp;subid="><img src="http://a124.g.akamai.net/f/124/2375/4h/www.ice.com/media/common/products/images/R/D/F/9/RDF_100739_b_l-1_Carat_Black_and_White_Diamond_10K_White_Gold_Ring.jpg" alt="Black Diamond White Diamond Ring" /></a></p>
<p>So be bold when it comes to your jewelry wardrobe: step out of the box and dare to wear black diamonds. They’re hot. They’re in. They’re a girl’s new best friend.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Fashionable Photographer Brie shares her favorite ways to add a burst of color to fall's all-black outfits.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been looking through fashion magazines and on websites at the new Fall offerings recently, and have noticed a heavy lean toward an entirely black outfit, from head to toe.</p>
<p>While that is a nice, clean, look that I would have embraced back in high school when I used to sit and listen to the Cure in a darkened room, nowadays, I like a bit of color. In fact, I think most of us like a little variety in our wardrobes. It&#8217;s very easy to incorporate some color while still keeping the overall outfit black.</p>
<p>Throw on a brightly colored coat over the black outfit:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/y9db5gms/Bb-Dakota-Bennet-Coat-In-Emerald-At-Lulus-Com"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/xt/pb/xtpbsnt2/xtpbsnt2-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Above:</strong> B.B. Dakota Coat found at <a href="http://www.lulus.com/">Lulus.com</a>.</p>
<p>Add a bright t-shirt as a foundation piece and make it the burst of color in your outfit: </p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/g4lrl0hw/Lna-Aqua-Cotton-V-Neck-Rolled-Sleeve-T-Shirt-At-Bluefly"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/fn/ws/fnws66p5/fnws66p5-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Above:</strong> LnA tee found at <a href="http://www.bluefly.com/">Bluefly.com</a>.</p>
<p><span id="more-1639"></span></p>
<p>Find a sweater that has a bright color fading to a neutral:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/qnz903pz/Hayden-Teal-Dip-Dyed-Cashmere-Relaxed-V-Neck-Sweater-At-Bluefly"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/q6/89/q689m9w8/q689m9w8-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Above:</strong> Hayden sweater found at <a href="http://www.bluefly.com/">Bluefly.com</a>.</p>
<p>Or make a statement with a pair of brightly colored shoes like these pumps:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/8wgd6hqb/Boutique-9-Violet-Suede-Apos-Mazi-Apos-Cork-Platform-Pumps-At-Bluefly"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/8d/rd/8drdtpwm/8drdtpwm-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Above:</strong> Boutique 9 violet suede platform pumps at <a href="http://www.bluefly.com/">Bluefly.com</a>.</p>
<p>If you prefer shiny and more subtle, you may want to head toward the metallics to brighten that black outfit up:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/xth92hy7/Oak-Finsk-Gold-Fish-Scale"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/x3/jb/x3jbvwml/x3jbvwml-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Above:</strong> Gold fish scale shoes by finsk at <a href="http://www.oaknyc.com/">Oaknyc.com</a>.</p>
<p>Bright accessories also can bring some life to an dark outfit, like this sangria-hued handbag:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/wcft0r2d/Joe-Apos-S-Jeans-Celine-Hobo-In-Sangria-At-Revolve-Clothing-Free-Shipping"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/vn/gv/vngvt3rr/vngvt3rr-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Above: Sangria Hobo by Joe&#8217;s Jeans at <a href="http://www.revolveclothing.com/index.jsp">Revolve Clothing</a>.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be afraid to be a bit bold and add some color to your black outfits. Take notes from nature who dons itself in brightly colored leaves in the autumn months as the world darkens.</p>
<p>Have fun with fashion and experiment!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is this summer’s gloomy weather getting you down? Do not fret, dear fashionistas. Although the sun has failed to show its pretty face in the last few weeks, you can find comfort in colorful and sparkling jewelry that will surely add some brilliance to your rainy days.</p>
<p>Summer fashions are seeing flamboyant shades of orange, peach, coral, red and pink. So set your flashy wardrobe ablaze with bright gemstones that complement the palette. Light up your next night out with an <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=kTcgI/PA3qw&amp;offerid=139359.777859061&amp;type=10&amp;subid=">orange sapphire, rhodolite and diamond ring</a>:</p>

<description><![CDATA[Fashionable Photographer Brie shares her latest obsession: necklaces that go to great lengths.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been getting out and about now that the weather has turned toward summer in the Northern Hemisphere and have noticed a trend on many a woman&#8217;s neck.</p>
<p>Long, necklaces of all colours, made of various materials, price ranges, and worn with tanks, tees, dresses, and tunics. I have even started buying many of the longer necklaces myself to wear with my v-neck tees because I am liking the look.</p>
<p>Some of my online finds as examples:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/nn7qb16l/Pop-Rocks-Neckace-In-Multi-At-Lulus-Com"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/n5/jq/n5jqy7cw/n5jqy7cw-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>

<p>There are just so many designs and styles to choose from&#8230;as well as so many prices. It makes it an easy trend to participate in.</p>
<p>Anyone else buying long necklaces this season to add to your summer wardrobe?</p>

<description><![CDATA[Fly Spy Nana shares the style secrets of Bluefly buyers.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m not the biggest fan of the term &#8220;real girl&#8221; (because I think models and actresses &#8211; in spite of their above average looks &#8211; deserve the respect of being recognized as &#8220;real&#8221; too), but for those of us who don&#8217;t have a paid glam squad on hand to style us into fabulousness, the trend lists can be daunting. Sure <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/_/N-1aaq/Ntt-boyfriend+jeans/Nrk-all/Nrr-all/Nrt-boyfriend+jeans/Ntk-all/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/search.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">&#8220;boyfriend&#8221; jeans</a> and <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Designer-Blazers-Vest/_/N-este/Ns-Popularity%7C0%7C%7CProductId%7C1/list.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">jackets</a> are in, but so are <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Designer-Bohemian-Dresses/_/N-ed1i/list.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">&#8220;boho&#8221; dresses</a>, &#8220;&#8217;80s pop colors,&#8221; <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Designer-Aggressive-Accessories/_/N-e5d8/list.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">&#8220;aggressive accessories&#8221;</a> and gladiator sandals. How does one pull it all together in a look that doesn&#8217;t feel too fashion victim-y? I found inspiration from Bluefly&#8217;s buyers.</p>
<p><img src="http://e.stylefeeder.com/blog/blueflybuyers.jpg"/></p>
<p>Our buyers have distinctly different styles, so seeing how they translated the &#8220;boyfriend&#8221; trend was illuminating. Kate (far left) is hipster chic, so she paired a <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Torn-white-quill-necklace-print-Jesse-tunic/cat20032/301869802/detail.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">boyfriend tee by Torn</a> with a vest and wore it over leggings and flat <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/_/N-fg6/Ntt-gladiator%2520sandals/Nrk-all/Nrr-all/Nrt-gladiator%2520sandals/Ntk-all/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/search.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">gladiator sandals</a>. Joanna (next to Kate) likes to mix and match classic pieces with statement accessories and killer outerwear (she&#8217;s the coats buyer, of course), so she rocked a cropped leather bomber with a bright purple tee by LnA in a nod to classic &#8217;80s style. Sandy (standing next to Joanna) keeps it boho chic, so she chose a <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Wildfox-Couture-navy-cotton-Live-Love-v-neck-t-shirt/SEARCH/303291601/detail.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">Wildfox Couture tee</a> with a hippie-inspired graphic, while Jessica (far right), always luxe and on-trend, pulled a jacket-to-jeans boyfriend look together complete with aggressive <a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2585066-10436858?url=http%3A//www.bluefly.com/Pour-la-Victoire-wine-cut-out-leather-Fanny-platform-sandals/COLOR_CROSS-SELL/303171401/detail.fly%3Freferer%3Dflypaper%26cm_mmc%3Dflypaper-_-blog-_-product_links-_-bfly&#038;cm_mmc=CJ-_-2156118-_-2585066-_-CUSTOM">cut-out platforms by Pour La Victoire</a>.</p>
<p>The Style Note here is: Find the individual trend piece(s) that jive with your style, then mix and match them with what you&#8217;ve already got to update your look.d</p>

<description><![CDATA[Inspired by Valentine's Day, our College Co-Ed Jackie is feeling red and pink for hot spring clothes and accessories. ]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://blog.stylefeeder.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/fullscreen-capture-2112009-13038-pm.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1201" src="http://blog.stylefeeder.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/fullscreen-capture-2112009-13038-pm.jpg" alt="" width="531" height="219" /></a></p>
<p>Maybe it&#8217;s the hint of Valentine&#8217;s Day chocolates still laying around stores, but there&#8217;s something about red and pink that really catch my eye. Accessories, pants, coats: <em>everything </em>looks better in these fun, flirty colors.</p>
<ol>
<li><a href="http://www.delias.com">Delias</a> has expanded their denim/pants collection to include 37&#8221; inseams and I couldn&#8217;t be more excited! I like the bold red color of <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/5q9gytx0/Delias-Morgan-Low-Rise-Skinny-Jean-Red-Clearance-Jeans-Skinny">these skinny jeans</a>, but keep the rest of your outfit simple. An oatmeal or khaki-colored trenchcoat, some simple flats or boots and wooden or neutral jewelry would be best.</li>
<li>I like the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/747cd2j9/Delias-Maggie-Zigzag-Scarf-Accessories-Scarves">zigzag print</a> on this scarf.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/49rpyx0d/Forever21-Com-Dresses-Dressy-2047727430">Bold colors and satin</a> go together like peanut butter and jelly.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bg05bjgf/Forever21-Com-Intimates-Sophie-Amp-Me-2056637331">Bright-colored lingerie</a> is fun to wear underneath more serious clothing. No one needs to know you&#8217;re breaking dress code under your banker suit!</li>
<li>If you&#8217;re still scared of color, start out with a dark red or maroon to ease into it. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0rqy5mlb/Forever21-Com-Dresses-Dressy-2055672540">This dress</a> is a good example of a more subdued red shade.</li>
<li>Versions of <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/ggqxhlq6/Urbanoutfitters-Com-Jeffrey-Campbell-Frill-Heel">these red shoes</a> are popping up in every store. Pick up a pair!</li>
<li><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/hwnsxvbh/Urbanoutfitters-Com-Bdg-Turtleneck-Sweater-Dress">Turtleneck dresses</a> are a safe choice for work, but also translate really well for going out at night. You can dress this one up or down just by changing your shoes, tights or jewelry.</li>
<li>These <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/cvy1rs2q/Urbanoutfitters-Com-Slouchy-Suede-Foldover-Boot">slouchy red boots</a> are to die for.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/3l6llt37/Mossimo-Black-Strapless-Ruffle-Front-Dress-Deep-Love-Target">Babydoll dresses</a> can be hard to pull off, but the trick is to make sure you buy a size (or couple sizes) smaller than you&#8217;d usually wear.</li>
<li>Stock up on lots of <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/xfl0svxj/Forever21-Com-Accessories-Belts-2057251113">skinny belts in bold colors</a> like red, pink and yellow to add pizazz to your basic t-shirts and dresses.</li>
<li>Although winter is winding down in a month or so, keeping a <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tts52191/Forever21-Com-Outerwear-Coats-Amp-Jackets-2056773942">three-quarter-length sleeve coat</a> on hand is smart, at least until the end of April. The nights are chilly and there&#8217;s nothing worse than being cold while trying to have a good time!</li>
<li>Red sunglasses make me happy each time I put them on. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/ry497zv1/Forever21-Com-Accessories-Sunglasses-1056917519">Try a pair like this</a> for a quick pick-me-up while walking outside!</li>
<li>My favorite item listed here is <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/2wmrthj8/Forever21-Com-Dresses-Dressy-2054561076">this adorable dress</a>. Even the buttons are cute.</li>
<li>Every girl&#8211;and I do mean <em>every girl</em>&#8211;needs a pair of <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/yvhx73jt/Forever21-Com-Shoes-Dressy-2055807603">red platform pumps</a>.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>What color do you prefer for spring fashion: red or pink?</strong></p>

<description><![CDATA[Shoe Addict Megan shares her fave gift ideas for the stiletto-lover in your life.]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="center;">Unless you know exactly what pair she wants, shopping for a shoe addict can be tricky! Shoe sizes vary from brand to brand, and sometimes, what you <em>think</em> she might like might be a little off. Luckily, there are tons of other shoe- and feet-related gifts that she&#8217;ll be sure to enjoy.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/yvt9861t">SpareSoles </a>are perfect for fashionistas who forgo comfort for style and sport killer heels (emphasis on &#8220;killer&#8221;) on party nights. (We all do it!) Light and portable, they&#8217;re easy to tuck away into an evening bag or clutch. While they don&#8217;t provide much support, they&#8217;re sure to relieve achy feet from four and five-inch heels during formal events and functions.</p>
<p style="center;"><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/yvt9861t" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/xx/db/xxdbhldd/xxdbhldd-200.jpg" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>Help your pal make the most of the shoe collection she already has by giving her a pair of shoe clips. Shoe clips are an easy way to add new life and flair to a plain pair of shoes. Try <a href="http://absolutelyaudrey.com">Absolutely Audrey</a> or <a href="http://shoeworthy.com">Shoeworthy </a>&#8211; some are even made out of vintage brooches and pendants!</p>
<p style="center;"><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/tv2k33t1" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/t4/3l/t43lwhhd/t43lwhhd-200.jpg" alt="" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/rpznr308"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/qr/rr/qrrrpn6p/qrrrpn6p-200.jpg" alt="" /></a></p>
<p style="center;">
<p><span id="more-757"></span></p>
<p style="center;">You can also think beyond the shoes and about what will make her comfortable &#8212; what does she want after a night on her feet? Maybe this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/mxpy4038/Bath-Amp-Body-Works-Seeds-Amp-Grains-Best-Foot-Forward-Super-Luxe-Foot-Set">Davies Gate Seeds &amp; Grains Best Foot Forward Super Luxe Foot Set</a> will do the trick! It includes a Buckwheat Buffing Soap, a warming Mustard Seed Foot Serum, and a hydrating Cardamom Foot Butter. And, of course, comfy <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/5yvttqwy/Monogrammable-Women-Apos-S-Therapeutic-Slippers">terry slippers</a> are always a winner &#8212; and these are even monogrammable.</p>
<p style="center;"><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/mxpy4038/Bath-Amp-Body-Works-Seeds-Amp-Grains-Best-Foot-Forward-Super-Luxe-Foot-Set"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/lz/8z/lz8zcdfv/lz8zcdfv-200.jpg" alt="" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/5yvttqwy/Monogrammable-Women-Apos-S-Therapeutic-Slippers"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/57/ww/57wwm3l9/57wwm3l9-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>For a bit of humor, give her something fun but useful like a <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/vqjyq4t2">high heel cake server</a> or <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/rdz6gvqs">stiletto letter opener</a>.</p>
<p style="center;"><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/vqjyq4t2"><img src="http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/olivebarn_2028_74387580" alt="" width="188" height="188" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/rdz6gvqs"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/erlack/letteropener.jpg" alt="" width="254" height="146" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/pzv8bg7n"><em>Stiletto</em> by Caroline Cox</a> is a historical analysis about how the stiletto heel has been perceived since its invention (elegant or vulgar?). And if your friend is concerned with keeping up with the trends, sign her up for a subscription to <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/p6k4j4kg">Lucky magazine</a> &#8212; each issue displays practical translations of runway couture to real world style.</p>
<p style="center;"><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/pzv8bg7n"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/p8/wb/p8wb3ty0/p8wb3ty0-200.jpg" alt="" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/p6k4j4kg"><img src="https://subscribe.condenet.com/images_covers/cover_lucky_146.jpg" alt="" width="122" height="165" /></a></p>
<p style="center;">None of these options quite right for your shoe addict friend? Send a <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/wswy4x75" target="_blank">Piperlime gift card</a> her way and let her choose her gift &#8212; shipping is free, it never expires, and with their wide selection, she&#8217;ll definitely find a pair of shoes she loves!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am one of those women who just doesn&#8217;t like to go out for the evening in dresses or skirts. Especially if I am going to a bar, pub, club, or concert. I like to dance, move around, sling my leg over barstools, all without having a dress or skirt hindering my movement.</p>
<p>What do I wear you ask? I go for comfort, creating a dressy casual, modern look.</p>
<p>I may wear a shirt like this one:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0pxhgplg/Aryn-K-Women-Apos-S-Scoopneck-Sequin-Top-Cream-Taupe-80-Apos-S-Purple"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/0p/xh/0pxhgplg/0pxhgplg-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>With these jeans:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bhy8qrrf/See-Thru-Soul-Sailor-Nouveau-Jean-Lulus-Fashion-Lounge"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/bh/y8/bhy8qrrf/bhy8qrrf-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>And these very funky, cool, heels:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/rjx1vhr4/Oak-Jeffrey-Campbell-Lynden-Combo-Python-Heel"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/t0/vb/t0vb6bxm/t0vb6bxm-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-510"></span></p>
<p>Then, add accessories, the finishing touches. Something like this very cool necklace:<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/j8hk96q4/Lotus-Karma-Sterling-Silver-Necklace-Dogeared-Jewels-And-Gifts"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/j8/hk/j8hk96q4/j8hk96q4-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>This simple, yet pretty, bracelet:<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/b13z6n68/Bop-Bijoux-Star-Bangle-Set-Shopbop-Com"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/b1/3z/b13z6n68/b13z6n68-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>This classic looking clutch:<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/l7n5nzk6/Croco-Patent-Flap-Clutch-In-Black-Shopintuition"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/l7/n5/l7n5nzk6/l7n5nzk6-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>And maybe a ring like this one:<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wdn29n7q/Iosselliani-Multi-Ring-With-Pearls-And-Crystals-Browns-Fashion"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/wd/n2/wdn29n7q/wdn29n7q-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m ready for anything the night might throw at me! What do you like to wear for a night on the town?</p>

My scorn has risen to a new level with the rise of this season's version, the so-called scarflette.

My friend Beth drew my attention to this new trend. How could I resist opening an email with the title "Is this the new <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickie">dickey</a>?" And yes, I believe the insidious scarflette is indeed the latest incarnation of "a false shirt-front - originally known as a detachable bosom". Check out some examples:]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Regular readers of The Tastemaker Diaries are well aware of my <a href="http://blog.stylefeeder.com/2008/06/24/the-summer-scarf-yay-or-nay/">obsessive hatred of scarves</a>. My scorn has risen to a new level with the rise of this season&#8217;s version, the so-called scarflette.</p>
<p>My friend Beth drew my attention to this new trend. How could I resist opening an email with the title &#8220;Is this the new <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickie">dickey</a>?&#8221; And yes, I believe the insidious scarflette is indeed the latest incarnation of &#8220;a false shirt-front &#8211; originally known as a detachable bosom&#8221;. Check out some examples:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mcf4rmtf/Etsy-Wobashka-Scarf-1"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/mc/f4/mcf4rmtf/mcf4rmtf-200.jpg"/></p>
<p></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/pyng78g1/Etsy-Nandahandcrafted-Coppertop-Scarflette-Neckwarmer"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/py/ng/pyng78g1/pyng78g1-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>Why do I hate these so much, you ask? Let me count the ways:</p>
<p><span id="more-491"></span></p>
<p>1) Scarflette vendors inevitably style their models wearing a scarflette and nothing else. Aside from the suspension of disbelief this requires (if it&#8217;s warm enough to pose nude, the model&#8217;s neck probably isn&#8217;t freezing), I&#8217;d be much more likely to buy one if the retailer actually showed me how a scarflette could be used to accessorize my fall and winter outfits.</p>
<p>2) I already own a million chunky necklaces that I don&#8217;t get to wear nearly often enough &#8212; and they don&#8217;t itch or threaten to choke me</p>
<p>3) When I was in elementary school, I went through a phase of penning my own <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/38kj0z49/You-Can-Apos-T-Scare-Me-Goosebumps-Goosebumps-By-R-L-Stine-Mass-Market-Paperback">Goosebumps</a>-inspired short stories&#8230;including one which featured a heroine whose hid her decapitated state from the world by attaching her head to her body through the use of a strategically-tied scarf. Apparently, I did a good job freaking myself out, because I remember it to this day and refuse to wear anything that might make me resemble The Headless Horsewoman. </p>
<p>What do you think? Do I need to rethink scarflettes? Are these something you&#8217;ll be adding to your wardrobe this season?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The best thing that could ever happen to a tech geek fashionista is the new nerd chic trend! I love the style, and there are plenty of designers that I think really capture the essence of nerd chic. My fave part of the trend is definitely the funky LEGO jewelry that’s popping up everywhere! Here are some of my favorite LEGO pieces:</p>
<p>The fruitstripe plus limited edition bracelet by &#8211; <a href="http://www.rewarestyle.com/home.html">reware by emiko</a> which retails for $240 is made from repurposed LEGOs, with patented sterling silver tubing and synthetic rubber corundum set in 14k gold.<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/1xgt0yc1/Fruitstrip-Plus-Reware-By-Emiko-O-E-Oware-Limited-Edition"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3203/2870305699_8fcbfc6e60_m.jpg" alt="" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://fredflare.com/customer/product.php?productid=4028&amp;cat=103&amp;bf=hots">Dee and Ricky pixel heart pin</a> for $20 dollars. This pin is soooo cute that it’s sold out for now.<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/9tdrjj6x/Dee-And-Ricky-Pixel-Heart-Pin"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3028/2871136406_9911138d4e_o.jpg" alt="" /></a><br />
Dee and Ricky, who happen to be twins, design jewelry and recently had their pieces featured on the Marc Jacob runway (below).<br />
<img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3295/2870305645_e5a9d49215_m.jpg" alt="" /></p>
<p><span id="more-449"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.jacquelinesanchez.com/">Jacqeline Sanchez&#8217;s</a> Forever One Collection is an elegant version of LEGO jewelry. I love her pieces! Here are four of my favorites:</p>
<p><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3186/2871136454_59bd8e6f22_m.jpg" alt="" /><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>1. </strong><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/xpqth2wl/Forwever-Young-Cuff-Links-Jacqueline-Sanchez-Jewelry-Design-Buy-It-Now">Cufflinks in sterling silver and colored plastic for $150 dollars</a> <strong>2. </strong><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/3bdpg5zb/Forever-Young-Cuff-Bracelet-Jacqueline-Sanchez">This cute Forever Young Cuff Bracelet is photo etched sterling silver with plastic and sterling silver rivets for $350</a> <strong>3.</strong><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/p3z9jr6r/Forevery-Young-Ring-No-2-Jacqueline-Sanchez-Jewelry-Design-Buy-It-Now">This Forever Young Ring No. 02 is photo-etched sterling silver with plastic, 14kt yellow gold and a sing diamond for $250.00</a> <strong>4.</strong> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/h6lpkmhz/Jacqueline-Sanchez-Jewelry-Design-Buy-It-Now">Forever Young Bracelet is a 7&#8243; sterling silver bracelet with plastic for $350.00</a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5192724">Etsy</a> also has a great collection of LEGO jewelry. I especially like these translucent LEGO earrings for just $5.99. Each one captures light and are hanging from hypoallergenic French hooks.<br />
<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/qlzdnm91/Etsy-Gr0glmann-Lego-Translucent-Brick-Dangle-Earrings-4-Colors-Free-Gift-Bag"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2356/2870305725_6405f023ba_m.jpg" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>What are your thoughts on the nerd chic trend?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I love bird-themed objects. Clothing, bags, jewelry and even home decor strike me as particularly special if there is a bird motif to be found.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve created an outfit that plays into a few of my current favorites:</p>
<ol>
<li>Bold use of color</li>
<li>Whimsical, slightly vintage-looking touches</li>
<li>Birds!</li>
</ol>
<p>Besides all this, the absolute best thing about this outfit is that every piece is available at <a href="http://www.forever21.com">Forever 21 online</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.stylefeeder.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/birdsofafeather1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-338" src="http://blog.stylefeeder.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/birdsofafeather1.jpg" alt="" width="427" height="363" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-337"></span></p>
<ol>
<li>This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/h1xmmq00/Forever21-Com-Product-C3">whimsical blouse</a> has a gorgeous colored print. The pairing of a flowy shirt with shorts gives a good proportion and silhouette.</li>
<li>The organic wood appearance of this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bkgx2txj/Forever21-Com-Product-C3">bird necklace</a> is perfect matched with vintage-looking attire.</li>
<li>I&#8217;m loving linen or cotton shorts for summer. The high temperatures this week will be in the upper 90&#8217;s, so you can see why shorts have become such an attractive option! <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/p6k6fn5q/Forever21-Com-Product-C3">This pair</a> is classy, not trashy, and the fabric is versatile enough to be worn with many different tops.</li>
<li>Keeping with the bird theme, use this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dxtr8p67/Heritage1981">oversized tote</a> to carry your books, magazines and other kitsch.</li>
<li>The color of <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d6vt21wl/Forever21-Com-Product-C3">these sandals</a> is absolutely perfect: not too bright, not too dark. The eyelet detail is also timely, since I&#8217;ve been reading that eyelet is becoming more prominent again.</li>
</ol>
<p>See you next time!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Love &#8216;em or hate &#8216;em, they&#8217;re everywhere this season: summer scarves. This trend can be spotted on celebs and real people of both sexes. From <a href="http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/entertainment/john-mayer-and-his-scarf-180026/">John Mayer&#8230;</a> </p>
<p><a href="http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/entertainment/john-mayer-and-his-scarf-180026/"><img src="http://us.f10.yahoofs.com/phugc/6Sl_V6d1NWmY/photos/42ccf3385a8049120fd5f71d0a6dcb97/ori_d4335b030c9dd3.jpg?ug_____DNgY2ojK."/></a> </p>
<p>To <a href="http://www.thebaglady.tv/scarves/">Jessica Alba&#8230;</a> </p>
<p><a href="http://www.thebaglady.tv/scarves/"><img src="http://www.thebaglady.tv/18076-20_jessica_alba-thumb-142x206.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>&#8230;there aren&#8217;t many places these lightweight accessories haven&#8217;t been spotted. Even Rachael Ray has donned a jaunty scarf, though that <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24860437/">didn&#8217;t work out so well</a> for her. </p>
<p>You won&#8217;t see me sporting a scarf this summer. I get the arguments for: it&#8217;s an easy way to add color and pattern to an outfit. (Believe me, I went through a scarf phase about 10 years ago because I thought they were a professional way to add pizzazz to a suit. I had a very elaborate way of tying the fabric, that in retrospect, made me look like I had been decapitated and was trying to keep my head tied to my body through a small square of fabric and sheer force of will.)<br />
<span id="more-319"></span></p>
<p>Yeah, yeah, it&#8217;s versatile and can be balled up and thrown in a bag. Though I don&#8217;t quite buy the argument that a wispy piece of see-through fabric can offer any defense against full-force air conditioning. In my mind, a more substantial wrap or light jacket offers the same portability AND better insulating potential.</p>
<p>But here is my main argument against the scarf trend:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/pk9zy8nw/Brown-Ikat-Weave-Scarf"><img src="http://k1.stylefeeder.com/thumb/fa/15/fa1517c66a505a73b8e2188be596623bd4831383-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>Gorgeous girl, cute tank. But the scarf&#8230;just no. If it&#8217;s hot enough to wear sleeveless and spaghetti straps, you don&#8217;t need to add any extra fabric around the neckular region. Has your neck ever been shivering cold while the rest of your body was sweltering? I rest my case. I would have loved to see this top paired with a colorful chunky necklace instead. </p>
<p>But I&#8217;m willing to be proven wrong. Do you sport a summer scarf? What do you like about the look? Is this something you&#8217;d like to see on your man, or are you saving this trend all for your own? </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s spring again. Days are warming up and bare arms are coming out of hibernation under sweaters and coats. It&#8217;s time to dress those bare arms up with bracelets that stack or stand alone!</p>
<p>This season, there are all sorts of bangle bracelets, in all sorts of styles, that fit all sorts of budgets. Bangles are my favorite way to dress up that nude wrist just dying to be covered in a bit of flash. Why leave it out of the fashion fun?</p>
<p>Go for a distressed look with a touch of ethic beauty, like this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/clddmfsg">Cairo Bangle</a> from <a href="http://www.lulus.com">Lulu&#8217;s</a>:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/clddmfsg"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/cl/dd/clddmfsg/clddmfsg-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Or try <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d2ydqwrf">etched enamel</a> in a subtle shade:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d2ydqwrf"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/d2/yd/d2ydqwrf/d2ydqwrf-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-300"></span></p>
<p>A painted bangle can add a lot to an outfit if you come across something <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/l3d2jdf3">this pretty</a>:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/l3d2jdf3"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/l3/d2/l3d2jdf3/l3d2jdf3-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>Or go <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/68b0wjd6">&#8220;Russian folk art&#8221;</a> in style:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/68b0wjd6"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/68/b0/68b0wjd6/68b0wjd6-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/92gxf2qk">Wood-carved bangles</a> can be very eye-catching:</p>

<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/qxnm3gp4">Beading</a> can give you a primitive, yet beautiful look:</p>

<p>Or, if you are into conservative and sleek, you can never go wrong with the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/13q21lt5">classic bangle</a>:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/13q21lt5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/13/q2/13q21lt5/13q21lt5-200.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="200" /></a></p>
<p>With so many possibilities out there this season, do not let your wrist go unadorned. Add some flash!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Start saving up your paycheck for these three stand-alone pieces. Different styles and designers for sure, but who wants to be predictable? Here are two rings and a sweater to match your mood. Keep &#8216;em on their toes, girlfriend. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/3zmfjvx6"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/3z/mf/3zmfjvx6/3zmfjvx6-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>A cozy, slouchy fancy designer maxi-cardigan is an indulgence for sure, but this Stella McCartney stone-colored <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/3zmfjvx6">sweater</a> made of heavy cotton mixes nautical with High Street. The white twill tape forms a cool hipster crucifix in the back, while the toggle-type closures look slick open or loose. Throw it on over cargo pants for a mad dash through the airport, or toss on over your fanciest black trousers. Either way, the $1345 knit is a knockout.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/t237k4k5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/t2/37/t237k4k5/t237k4k5-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>Jill Platner is a surfer, sculptor and one of the hottest jewelry designers around these day. Lenny Kravitz proudly loops one of her black corded chokers around his neck, and Mandy Moore stacks rows of the organic bracelets up and down her arm &#8212; each one a sculptural masterpiece. Jill&#8217;s pieces are not cheap &#8212; this dazzling &#8220;Sprout&#8221; <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/t237k4k5">bracelet</a> runs $815, but the cord is made of gortex and the silver is all but bullet-proof. Wear it while you swim, sleep shower and sprint &#8212; just as Jill would herself.</p>
<p><span id="more-293"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d9xbf2td"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/d9/xb/d9xbf2td/d9xbf2td-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>This summer, keep things simple. Wear white, white, white every day and notch it up with this mother-of pearl oversized <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d9xbf2td">ring</a>. Its easy, elegant spirit is as seductive as a soft summer night. Pair with a sleek white linen tank dress or jeans and billowy peasant blouse. It&#8217;s a stand-alone accessory worth every penny of its $325 price tag.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What’s your favorite first sign of SPRING? Mine is waking to the sweet sound of chirping birds outside our window, even though it is only FIVE-in-the-morning!! I also think one of nature’s most perfect compositions is that of speckled robin’s eggs ‘blue’ against a nest in shades of brown. It isn’t just the color brown that Robin’s Egg Blue looks great against, though. This cheery, happy color is a great compliment to just about every color in the rainbow. So, in honor of those chirping little birdies let’s take a look at some vintage inspired accessories in Robin’s Egg Blue to get us in the mood for a crisp spring day!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bwt398sn"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/bw/t3/bwt398sn/bwt398sn-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bwt398sn">Rusty Blue Necklace</a> by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5254206">MARIE FLY FLY</a> is a great example of vintage meets modern. The speckled Czech glass beads combined with the industrial look of the hammered copper hoop and chain really pop&#8230;and at just $34, they&#8217;re a steal!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/cpn737wd"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/cp/n7/cpn737wd/cpn737wd-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>Isn’t this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/cpn737wd">clutch</a> sweet?! This is by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=52659">MOSEY</a> who’s tag line is: “Recycled, Reconstructed, Re-loved,” so you can’t beat that. This Araucana Pocket Clutch is made of soft, felted, boiled wool with a vintage button. Check out the sweet surprise on the back: egg shaped cotton appliqués in a vintage calico print….too cute. This piece measures 6” x 5” and is a mere $22!</p>
<p><span id="more-281"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/998mkjn5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/99/8m/998mkjn5/998mkjn5-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>It must be my wee bit o’ Scottish blood that draws me to the kilt. There’s nothing sexier than a lad in a kilt, but why can’t the lassies get in on the action? Well, we can if you wear this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/998mkjn5">vintage kilt pin</a>! This would look great as a fastener for a hand knit wrap or scarf. This pin is made of steel wire and vintage beads by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7092">SUPERFAY</a>. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/snrz0nms"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/sn/rz/snrz0nms/snrz0nms-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>These <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/snrz0nms">little beauties</a> by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=1583">FOUNDLING</a> feature a couple of vintage Lucite and faceted stones with a delicate brass chain connected to a cool brass ring (check them out up close) for $25. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/vp2dmlxd"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/vp/2d/vp2dmlxd/vp2dmlxd-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>This fun <a href="<a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/vp2dmlxd">&#8220;>ring</a> by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=79541">THE BROKEN PLATE</a> is actually handcrafted from&#8230;you guessed it, a broken plate. The vintage 70’s silver adjustable ring setting completes the look. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/fsdfg258"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/fs/df/fsdfg258/fsdfg258-200.jpg"/></a></p>
<p>These super-duper-cute <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/link/g83dtvzz">baby hair clips</a> made by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5307201">DETAILS</a> just make me smile! The Monogram clip on the left and the personalized one on the right are entirely hand-sewn. It’s no surprise then that they use only high quality wool felt on these beauties! Their entire collection for babies and toddlers is a must see! </p>
<p>You can check out all of these designers and more on <a href="http://www.etsy.com/">Etsy</a>, my go-to international boutique for all things indie!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have always loved the look of wood in accessories . I think it started in childhood ,watching my grandma casually placing driftwood pieces in her garden, which might seem a bit strange if she didn’t live on the beach. The memory of those organic sculptures peeking out from her flower beds is etched forever in my mind. Real wood and especially faux bois (that’s French for fake wood) is all the rage in home accessories right now, so it would make sense that the trend is crossing over into jewelry design, since the fashion and interior design industries are so intertwined. Wood accessories certainly aren’t new, but they seem to go in and out of fashion depending on what month it is; I for one think wood or “faux bois” should be more of a classic that’s here to stay. It has a certain “je ne sais quoi,” don’t you think? If the answer is a resounding “Oui,” read on:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0zy4czyx"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/0z/y4/0zy4czyx/0zy4czyx-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This first piece is one that I can’t seem to forget after adding it to my <a href="www.stylefeeder.com/stylefeed/hardwarehandbags">Stylefeed</a> over five weeks ago! It’s so beautiful and organic, yet modern at the same time. It’s made by Amy Moore of Honey Bee (a seller on <a href="www.etsy.com">Etsy</a>). She refers to her pieces as “wearable sculpture inspired by nature,” which is so spot on. This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0zy4czyx">cuff</a> of solid sterling silver is cast and impressed with the texture of a peeled hickory branch. She then oxidizes it to enhance the pattern and brushes it for a matte finish. I must not be the only one hankering for this beauty because, the hand-cast piece is back-ordered for 6-8 weeks, but I think it’s totally worth the wait.</p>
<p>One designer that is known for her modern wood inlay pieces is <a href="http://www.amybengtson.com/">Amy Bengtson</a>. She is a fellow Northwest girl and one talented designer. Here are just a couple of her new pieces:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/64gkrt3r"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/64/gk/64gkrt3r/64gkrt3r-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-262"></span></p>
<p>This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/64gkrt3r">piece</a> is part of her new graphic series where you can pick your wood (rosewood-dark brown, bloodwood-red or maple-blond), color and pattern. The one-inch square necklace is etched on both sides and hung on an 18-inch chain. This piece is the Anika pattern in bloodwood/silver.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/pj7kh9yc"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/pj/7k/pj7kh9yc/pj7kh9yc-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/pj7kh9yc">Josephine</a> necklace is part of Amy’s Beat collection. I love the simplicity of the mod shapes. It’s available in Rosewood (dark brown), Bloodwood (red) and Maple (blonde). Shown in Rosewood with sterling silver findings. These pieces start at $68.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/50mjrwv5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/50/mj/50mjrwv5/50mjrwv5-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>These unique little <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/50mjrwv5">gems</a> from Demimonde Jewelry (another Pacific Northwest artist) are actual twigs that have been covered in gold leaf. The asymmetrical look of the brass bird and chalcedony charms is too cute.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/20c3rfwg"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/20/c3/20c3rfwg/20c3rfwg-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/20c3rfwg">These</a> are also from Demimonde. The wood grain design is hand printed on both sides on balsa wood, which is very light weight. The combination in a teardrop shape is oh-so-modern.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/nkjt4m5k"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/nk/jt/nkjt4m5k/nkjt4m5k-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>These glass cabochon <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/nkjt4m5k">hair pins</a> from <a href="http://www.dejarnettenola.com/">Dejarnette</a> are so faux bois! I would wear these little cuties every day.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/l0qz1bqm"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/l0/qz/l0qz1bqm/l0qz1bqm-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>These simple <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/l0qz1bqm">wood disks</a> by Sharma Designs (also found on <a href="http://www.etsy.com">Etsy</a>) framed in silver make great everyday earrings for the jeans and t-shirt girl.</p>
<p>So give these new classics a try…there are a multitude of options and styles to choose from.</p>

<p><em>Scans from People Style Watch&#8217;s latest issue. </em></p>
<p>Spring is coming, and with it comes a whole new set of fashion &#8220;rules.&#8221; As the weather heats up, clothes get lighter, shorter and more comfortable, but you also must start shaving your legs daily, getting manicures and pedicures, applying the self-tanner&#8230;you know the drill. Summer can be a <em>pain. </em>Just keeping yourself looking good is hard enough, but to worry about clothing and accessories on top of that is far too much thinking, in my opinion.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve compiled some items for you that are guaranteed to make you look great this spring/summer season, and most of them will even be wearable once the weather turns cold again in about eight months or so, depending on where you live. <img src='http://blog.stylefeeder.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Thanks to <em>People Style Watch</em> for inspiring this post! I highly recommend <em>People Style Watch</em> (take some of their suggestions&#8230;bulldogs are IN, milkshakes are OUT&#8230;with a grain of salt) if you want to get some great shopping ideas.</p>
<p><span id="more-251"></span></p>
<p><strong>Shoes</strong></p>
<p>Every good spring/summer outfit should start from the ground up. Why? Because spring and summer temperatures allow you to wear every kind of shoe you own. Sandals, flip flops, pumps, peeptoe heels, flats, boots&#8230;every shoe (except for Uggs) is fair game once warm weather hits.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0ldg3pzs">BCBG fuchsia heels</a> on the far left have a vintage quality to them that I love. It would pull together an outfit really well, and still have a spring-y, romantic look to it. The next pair is my favorite of the set: the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/s0my5c9y">Michael Antonio color-blocked pumps</a>. The chunky heel is great, because it&#8217;s fair easier and more comfortable to walk in. The price is amazing on these, only $20. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6zp35sd3">pink Bamboo flats</a> with the ankle strap have an adorable mini wedge heel, so if you&#8217;re the type that can&#8217;t go out in flats, these might be a good go-between. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/r8pqcyp3">Dove gray</a> is my new favorite neutral. It goes with everything and can look either tough or soft and romantic depending on how you wear it. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/r8pqcyp3">The hidden platform in these</a> would add a little extra height in a more subtle way. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wqcyhdz1">pink mary janes</a> are by Charles David, and they are also on sale. I like the vintage cut and the subtle brown and white piping on the side. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/920h3ddb">yellow Payless heels</a> look a little &#8220;Easter,&#8221; but with the right dress or pair of jeans, they could add an unexpected element to a plain outfit.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/0ldg3pzs"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/0l/dg/0ldg3pzs/0ldg3pzs-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/s0my5c9y"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/s0/my/s0my5c9y/s0my5c9y-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6zp35sd3"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/6z/p3/6zp35sd3/6zp35sd3-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/r8pqcyp3"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/r8/pq/r8pqcyp3/r8pqcyp3-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wqcyhdz1"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/wq/cy/wqcyhdz1/wqcyhdz1-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/920h3ddb"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/92/0h/920h3ddb/920h3ddb-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Shirts/Blouses</strong></p>
<p>Spring tops should have an easy, comfortable look, and I like romantic colors: white, ivory, gray, navy, pink, etc. Stay away from light, light pastels: color saturation is more trendy this season. Anything with ruffles, eyelet or the like is a safe bet and can be worn in multiple ways for work, play, dates, etc.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bhqld8gz">Kensie Girl tunic</a> from Nordstrom has my favorite color combo right now: blue and black. Once taboo to wear these together, it&#8217;s now commonplace and stylish. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bhqld8gz">This tunic</a> is long enough to be worn as a dress, but short enough that it wouldn&#8217;t look strange worn with skinny jeans or leggings. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/sgrrdpk4">40&#8217;s-style bow blouse</a> from Nordstrom looks soft and romantic, and proves that shirts don&#8217;t have to be Easter-colored to look that way. One of my favorite blouses in the bunch is the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/ftpg1w8y">Macy&#8217;s voile tunic</a>. It&#8217;s a great length (girls love anything that covers their hips, right?) and a good, comfy fit without hiding your figure. I&#8217;d buy this a size smaller than I usually wear for a fit that doesn&#8217;t beg a &#8220;is she or isn&#8217;t she?&#8221; pregnant question. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/z5nmdm7b">mint-green tunic</a> from Alloy looks so retro, but has a great, bright color. With skinny jeans and black flats, this is the ideal going-out shirt. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/5bp9mw4q">The embroidered blouse</a> from Urban Outfitters looks like something you bought handmade in Mexico. Forever21 makes great ruffled blouses, like <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lv0h8hd5">this Victorian-style</a> one. In order to keep the look modern, I&#8217;d wear it with fitted skinny jeans and platform heels. Another great blouse from Forever21 is <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wtpwn2p9">this one, with a navy satin sash</a>. It looks cheery and bright, and could be worn with a pencil skirt to work or with jeans out to dinner.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bhqld8gz"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/bh/ql/bhqld8gz/bhqld8gz-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/sgrrdpk4"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/sg/rr/sgrrdpk4/sgrrdpk4-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/ftpg1w8y"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/ft/pg/ftpg1w8y/ftpg1w8y-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/z5nmdm7b"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/z5/nm/z5nmdm7b/z5nmdm7b-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/5bp9mw4q"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/5b/p9/5bp9mw4q/5bp9mw4q-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lv0h8hd5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/lv/0h/lv0h8hd5/lv0h8hd5-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wtpwn2p9"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/wt/pw/wtpwn2p9/wtpwn2p9-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Sweaters</strong></p>
<p>No matter how warm the days are, you&#8217;ll need to take a layer with you in the spring and summer for cold restaurants, over-AC&#8217;d cars, chilly stores and breezy nights.</p>
<p>Alloy makes some great sweaters. The romantic bell sleeves on <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lbxdgcts">this one</a> echo the other romantic looks for spring, and the Renaissance-styling on <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/9mkp4j">this one</a> would look great over a plain t-shirt and with jeans. For a less subtle look, try <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/9mkp4j">American Apparel&#8217;s long cardigans</a> with a belt.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lbxdgcts"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/lb/xd/lbxdgcts/lbxdgcts-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/9mkp4j"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/qk/jz/qkjzby/qkjzby-200.jpg" /><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/9m/kp/9mkp4j/9mkp4j-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Dresses</strong></p>
<p>Dresses for spring should be made of light fabric, loose but not <em>too </em>loose and have a soft, feminine look. Try these:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/s6bg8xw5">This dress from Delias</a> combines a lot of different trends, but to a great effect. The light color, ruffles, bubble hem and detailed back make for the perfect spring party dress. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zlt5254b">This strapless, nude-colored lace dress</a> looks romantic, but also a little sexy, thanks to the cut and (lack of) color. For a more casual spring look, <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/43v1rhtb">this Roxy eyelet dress</a> does the trick, and is easily my favorite dress featured here. Target always has some great dress offerings, like <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mr220zzq">this linen Mossimo one</a>. A dressier option is <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7h59f6p5">this layered Forever21 version</a>. I like the subtle print on the front and the sexy tie sleeves. The least expensive dress here is <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lr7fwbk1">this shift dress</a> at only $15, but I love the neutral color and pleats in the front, which are always flattering.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/s6bg8xw5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/s6/bg/s6bg8xw5/s6bg8xw5-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zlt5254b"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/zl/t5/zlt5254b/zlt5254b-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/43v1rhtb"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/43/v1/43v1rhtb/43v1rhtb-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mr220zzq"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/mr/22/mr220zzq/mr220zzq-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7h59f6p5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/7h/59/7h59f6p5/7h59f6p5-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/lr7fwbk1"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/lr/7f/lr7fwbk1/lr7fwbk1-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Other Accessories</strong></p>
<p>Spring accessories are always fun&#8211;and these are especially fun considering the price.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zmdb6mqv">This Dominique Cohen necklace</a> from Target is on sale, so snatch it up quick. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4413gnp5">Spring scarves</a> always look great against neutral outfits. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dwvnfr71">This handbag from Old Navy</a> is also on sale for about $13, and comes in a taupe color. I like the versatile style&#8211;it could be worn out to dinner or to shopping. Last, but not least, <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d6gwclhx">a flower necklace</a> is always a welcome addition to any spring outfit, and for less than $7, I&#8217;ll take one, thanks.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zmdb6mqv"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/zm/db/zmdb6mqv/zmdb6mqv-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4413gnp5"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/44/13/4413gnp5/4413gnp5-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dwvnfr71"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/dw/vn/dwvnfr71/dwvnfr71-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d6gwclhx"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/d6/gw/d6gwclhx/d6gwclhx-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><em>Which trend for spring do you like most?</em></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>College is rough on the budget. As a general rule, I don&#8217;t like to spend more than $100 on any one item of clothing (unless it is a very special coat or dress), and for all practical purposes, if I want to <em>eat</em>, I really shouldn&#8217;t spend more than that.</p>
<p>That makes buying accessories difficult. I always want the latest &#8220;It&#8221; bag or shoes (who doesn&#8217;t?), but I absolutely do not have the budget to buy them. I find interesting ways to compensate, though, namely what I like to call &#8220;designer-inspired goods&#8221;.</p>
<p>Designer-inspired has a much better ring to it than the more common &#8220;knock-off,&#8221; and really, they&#8217;re <em>nearly </em>as fun as the real thing. As long as they come from reputable sources&#8230;NOT street vendors. You can rest more easily knowing that your designer-inspired look came from Steve Madden, not a street vendor in Mexico selling goods stolen from unsuspecting tourists.</p>
<p>Want a piece of the action? Check out the following:</p>
<p><img src="http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z219/ChiSept07/Random/ysl-a.png" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/630h7s4p"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/63/0h/630h7s4p/630h7s4p-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>These <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/630h7s4p">YSL tribute pumps</a> are actually being sold from <a href="http://www.bluefly.com">Bluefly</a>, which makes them marginally less expensive than buying straight from the source. But, sadly, marginally less expensive still means you&#8217;ll need to pay $528. Sigh.</p>
<p>BUT: do not despair that you cannot own one of the most sought-after shoes of the past year or two or three. because you can own something inspired.</p>
<p>Starting from the left, these <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mbplm85j">Steve Madden Laveda</a>&#8217;s are a pretty good inspired look. I love the sexy stiletto heel. The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wm702295">Xhilaration Sveta pumps</a> from Target are only $19.99 and come in four different colors. I liked the red and brown, but not the black: it looked a little cheaper than the other shades. BCBG is one of my favorite designers, and their BCBGirls line is less expensive and much more accessible. These <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/y86slzjk">white and black platforms</a> also come in a sexy, vampy red. My favorite pair of YSL-inspired pumps are Nine West&#8217;s <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/j7sn29zn">electric blue version</a>. Steve Madden also makes a pair of pumps called <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6jy7ryj1">the Reede</a>, and this version has a more classic styling/vintage feel than the Laveda&#8217;s. But, the most true-to-Tribute pair you can buy? <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dpktkwpr">Jessica Simpson&#8217;s Miami Maryjanes</a>. They are nearly an exact &#8220;inspired&#8221; match for the YSL Tributes&#8230;and such a great deal, too, at $50.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mbplm85j"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/mb/pl/mbplm85j/mbplm85j-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wm702295"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/wm/70/wm702295/wm702295-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/y86slzjk"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/y8/6s/y86slzjk/y86slzjk-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/j7sn29zn"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/j7/sn/j7sn29zn/j7sn29zn-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6jy7ryj1"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/6j/y7/6jy7ryj1/6jy7ryj1-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dpktkwpr"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/dp/kt/dpktkwpr/dpktkwpr-200.jpg" /><br />
<span id="more-250"></span><br />
</a></p>
<p align="center">_____________________________________________________________</p>
<p><img src="http://blog.freepeople.com/whowhatwear.jpg" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d8f8xbsr"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/d8/f8/d8f8xbsr/d8f8xbsr-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/d8f8xbsr">Lanvin flats</a> are a celebrity/rich people favorite. You see celebrities wearing them constantly and I don&#8217;t blame them. They come in all sorts of colors, some patent, some suede, some with mary jane straps. I prefer the classic, elastic style like the ones pictured above. But, come on&#8230;$600 for flats? Ha. Whatever.</p>
<p>I can vouch for <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tzm9ygsg">the first pair</a> pictured here on the left. They are by Charles Albert, and apparently he thought they looked so much like genuine Lanvin flats, that he named them &#8220;Lanvin flats.&#8221; I own two pairs (in nude pink and gray). They are a crazy deal (only $9) and extremely comfortable. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/rvjflfzp">The TopShop pair</a> has a great elastic band making for a comfy&#8211;not tight&#8211;fit. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/k75wdpz8">The Xhilaration flats from Target</a> are also a complete steal at less than $13 per pair. They come in lots of different colors, but I like the black and red best. And, for the deal of the day, Piperlime is offering their <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tqz7pbkv">Unlisted by Kenneth Cole flats</a> on sale for $19.99 in two great shades.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tzm9ygsg"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/tz/m9/tzm9ygsg/tzm9ygsg-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/rvjflfzp"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/rv/jf/rvjflfzp/rvjflfzp-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/k75wdpz8"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/k7/5w/k75wdpz8/k75wdpz8-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tqz7pbkv"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/tq/z7/tqz7pbkv/tqz7pbkv-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p align="center">_____________________________________________________________</p>
<p><img src="http://z.about.com/d/shoes/1/0/Y/g/nicole_richie_shoes_4.jpg" /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dbb08wkb"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/db/b0/dbb08wkb/dbb08wkb-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/dbb08wkb">Christian Louboutin</a> makes me angry. His shoes are SO beautiful, the curves SO amazing, that for one split second, I can justify spending $900 on shoes. Then, in the next second, I can see the look on THF&#8217;s face as he wonders how any shoes can be worth $900. Fortunately, because there are so many similar styles to this classic platform pump, I tend to agree with THF&#8217;s shoe theory: if it looks good, who cares how little you paid?</p>
<p>You may not be a fan of Jessica Simpson herself, but you must admit that her shoe line is fairly genius. <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/73xbjd56">The first pair</a> pictured here (starting from the left&#8230;hopefully you&#8217;ve gotten the idea by now!) are Simpson&#8217;s <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/73xbjd56">Josette pumps</a>. They come in black and white and have a sexy d&#8217;Orsay cut-out on the side. I like the wider peeptoe on these, too: sometimes small peeptoes can cramp your toes all together. Once again, BCBG proves why I love them with these <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/5y7dxz0v">sky-high platform slingbacks</a>. If you can&#8217;t handle all that height, <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/vr8xtgzv">this Naturalizer pair</a> is slightly less high, and probably more comfortable since it&#8217;s well, Naturalizer. Nordstrom also offers <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/svn20fjv">a pair of slingbacks</a> at a pretty decent price and with a sexy patent finish. My favorite pair of this set is <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kzvh8q5n">Nine West&#8217;s offering</a>. It&#8217;s cut well, got a great high heel and has all the necessary curves to pull off a Louboutin-inspired look with flair.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/73xbjd56"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/73/xb/73xbjd56/73xbjd56-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/5y7dxz0v"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/5y/7d/5y7dxz0v/5y7dxz0v-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/vr8xtgzv"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/vr/8x/vr8xtgzv/vr8xtgzv-200.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/svn20fjv"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/sv/n2/svn20fjv/svn20fjv-200.jpg" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kzvh8q5n"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/kz/vh/kzvh8q5n/kzvh8q5n-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Which designer &#8220;It&#8221; accessory would YOU rob a bank for?</p>
<p><em>I&#8217;d buy a Chloe purse, like <a href="http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/30457">this one</a>. </em></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are a working girl like me (and I mean that in the professional sense, not the street-walking sense), then you know that the ability to carry all your &#8220;stuff&#8221; in style is of utmost importance.</p>
<p>The ideal work bag must be roomy… On any given day, I&#8217;m hauling about a laptop, notebook, small make-up refresher bag, a bottle of water, and potentially my lunch. If it&#8217;s a gym day, throw workout clothes and sneaks into the mix, too. Among all that, it&#8217;s easy to lose a cell phone, blackberry, extra pen, wallet and glasses… so clearly, compartments are key.</p>
<p>The perfect work bag is over the shoulder, not handheld. But, the straps should be short enough that you COULD carry it by hand or on the crook of the elbow as well. It should be leather (in my opinion), and a neutral color to ensure you don&#8217;t have to change it every time you change your outfit.</p>
<p>It might be <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4b229bk8">high end</a> …</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4b229bk8"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/4b/22/4b229bk8/4b229bk8-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Or it might be <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/25z5y9rh">less expensive</a>…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/25z5y9rh"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/25/z5/25z5y9rh/25z5y9rh-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Or it may be somewhere <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tv8l3mpr">in between</a>…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/tv8l3mpr"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/tv/8l/tv8l3mpr/tv8l3mpr-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Or, break out of the neutral box and get something colorful like this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mg5zrq58">sunny yellow number</a>…</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mg5zrq58"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/mg/5z/mg5zrq58/mg5zrq58-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Either way… the bag is only half the style battle. Make sure you don&#8217;t overstuff (a very bad look), and make sure you pick one big enough to truly carry your essentials. Otherwise, the collection of work bag, gym bag and lunch/shoes in a shopping bag looks disheveled and sloppy &#8212; not a good look for a working girl… not THIS kind of working girl, anyway!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s great being an indie girl, who of course wears indie jewelry, because there’s such an abundance of it. Just go to a site like <a href="http://www.etsy.com/">Etsy</a> and you will find hundreds of jewelry designs that are unique, hand-crafted pieces that you won’t find in the big department store chains. Unfortunately, there are far fewer options for the guys out there, so I did some hunting and here are a few of my favorite finds for the hipster/modern man, (or the guy that is striving to be one):</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/njjlgf38"><br />
<img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/nj/jl/njjlgf38/njjlgf38-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This stunning <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/njjlgf38">wooden briefcase</a> is designed by Japanese designer Takumi Shimamura. I love wood-accented accessories, but I have NEVER seen a briefcase made out of wood, let alone so sleek, modern and one-of-a-kind! This talented industrial designer used an ecological, thinned Japanese cedar with a water- repellant finish. It’s large and wide enough to accommodate most laptops, has sturdy canvas edges, double zippers, and inner pockets. These are hand crafted in Japan and each one is as unique as is the cedar tree it came from, and for $299.99, it stacks up nicely with more traditional versions.</p>
<p>The next company I want to introduce you to is as clever as their slogan: Craft meets Technology. <a href="http://www.dbclay.com/">Dbclay</a> is a company from Portland, Oregon that creates unique wallets called pocket art. They are true innovators in the design world. Db developed a custom textile and a proprietary printing technique that takes conceptual art and photographs and transfers it onto their eco-friendly Tope fabric. Tope is strong, durable and water resistant ,and is the only product of its kind on the entire planet! How many companies large or small can say that? Cool and eco-friendly, now that’s a combo I can live with!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zg7v59b4"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/zg/7v/zg7v59b4/zg7v59b4-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/zg7v59b4">This</a> ode to the 70’s design is actually a copy of an old wooden box transferred onto their Tope fabric.</p>
<p><span id="more-226"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kwgk9c"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/kw/gk/kwgk9c/kwgk9c-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>I also love the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kwgk9c">Madras</a> model, particularly the contrast of the gold wheat against the blue horizon in this photo series.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4pfqsf5m"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/4p/fq/4pfqsf5m/4pfqsf5m-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://cyberoptix.com/">CYBEROPTIX TieLab</a> hails from a top-floor studio in downtown Detroit. Their designs reflect their environment and background in industrial/electronica music. The founder, Bethany Shorb, created the costumes for Skinny Puppy’s 2004 world tour and is a performer herself. Their aim is to take the ‘old establishment’ tie and turn it into a subversive anti-establishment one, and I think they’ve definitely succeeded! Cyberoptix uses eco-friendly waterbased inks on their 100% silk charmeuse and microfiber ties, like their best-selling <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4pfqsf5m">Exhaust Pipes design</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/70g3c5vc"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/70/g3/70g3c5vc/70g3c5vc-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>In this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/70g3c5vc">design</a>, they took a Victorian skeleton key and repeated it into a tartan design….genius!</p>
<p>Another company that creates sublime, hipster ties is <a href="http://www.sovereignbeck.com/">Sovereign Beck</a>. Their designs aren&#8217;t for the faint-of-heart and definitely speak for themselves:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bswz9f59"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/bs/wz/bswz9f59/bswz9f59-200.jpg" border="0" height="200" width="200" /></a><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7ygypgs3"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/7y/gy/7ygypgs3/7ygypgs3-200.jpg" border="0" height="200" width="200" /></a></p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/bswz9f59">Beetles</a> design on the left and the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7ygypgs3">Overlap</a> design on your right, both sell for $90.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/y1j0g6kp"><img src="http://sc4.stylefeeder.com/thumb/y1/j0/y1j0g6kp/y1j0g6kp-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.supermarkethq.com/designer/239/profile">22designstudio</a> is composed of a group of young designers from Taiwan. This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/y1j0g6kp">masculine ring</a> is one in a series made of cement and stainless steel. These young artists use environment, texture and human behavior as their design inspiration. The exterior was drawn freehand by the designer. The rough uneven cement outside is a great counter-balance to the smooth stainless on the inside.</p>
<p>I hope these pieces are either inspiration or motivation to look outside the box when it comes time to add an accessory or two to your wardrobe (or to help your guy update his look). Happy Hunting!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My dog Molly is embarrassingly spoiled. THF puts up with it&#8211;he secretly adores the dog as much as I do&#8211;but he puts his foot down when I insist he walk Molly outside&#8230;while she&#8217;s wearing a pink tweed jacket.</p>
<p>Since I think it&#8217;s only fair that Molly get presents on Christmas as well, I have some ideas of things that THF and I could both agree on&#8230;and none of the items involve the color pink or an abundance of rhinestones.</p>
<p>This is the <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/3wzbz6">gift</a> I <em>won&#8217;t </em>be getting Molly, simply because one, it&#8217;s got better style than my own Ikea-special bed, and two, because it&#8217;s (gulp) over $1,000. Yes, $1,000+. For a dog bed. But, if you had the money, it&#8217;s really adorable. Although perhaps, not a justifiable purchase&#8230;</p>
<p><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/3w/zb/3wzbz6/3wzbz6-200.jpg" /></p>
<p>This is more my budget: this $15 <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7v9b84">leather collar</a> doesn&#8217;t have spikes or studs on it, nor is it sparkly and tacky. Molly (and THF) will like it.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/7v9b84"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/7v/9b/7v9b84/7v9b84-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-205"></span></p>
<p>I have a confession: when I was younger (okay, very young), I collected Beanie Babies. Yes, I gave into the trendy, witch-hunt-ness of the Beanie Babie craze, and now have over 500 plush animals sitting in a box in my parent&#8217;s basement. Luckily, I have a dog that likes to chew on them, so they&#8217;re getting put to some purpose. But, on the off-chance that these hordes of stuffed beanbags are worth something someday, perhaps I better play it safe and let Molly start collecting her own <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kr6yky">Ty beanie baby dog toys</a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/kr6yky"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/kr/6y/kr6yky/kr6yky-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Although I&#8217;m aware that raw-meat diets are the best for dogs, I don&#8217;t have the time or energy to keep up to it (the meat comes frozen, you must chop it up into servings in plastic bags, store it in your freezer, thaw them a few days ahead of time, repeat, etc.) So, this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/pmnzbm">organic, all-natural dry dog food</a> may be a good alternative for Molly. Plus, the flavor &#8220;salmon and vegetable&#8221; sounds so gourmet.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/pmnzbm"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/pm/nz/pmnzbm/pmnzbm-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Kiehl&#8217;s products are a dream for humans, but I bet you didn&#8217;t know they carry a few products for dogs as well. Molly gets regular baths, as she likes to frolic in, well, the mud. My Aveda products probably aren&#8217;t the best for her sensitive doggy-skin, so this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/z45jj3">Kiehl&#8217;s dog shampoo</a> would be better suited for bath-time.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/z45jj3"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/z4/5j/z45jj3/z45jj3-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Since Molly was a puppy, she&#8217;s ridden on my lap in the car, either sitting up to look out the window, or laying down in a little ball with her head on my knee. I was told by THF that this practice isn&#8217;t exactly <em>legal, </em>so I&#8217;ve had to re-think my dog-transport tactics. I&#8217;m not a fan of the dog seatbelts&#8211;Molly&#8217;s squirmy and can get right out, but this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6bkbw7">dog booster seat</a> is <em>great. </em>She can still see out the window, lay down if she wants, keep an eye on me&#8230;whatever she wants. And, I mean, come on. Look at how darn <em>cute </em>that thing is.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/6bkbw7"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/6b/kb/6bkbw7/6bkbw7-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>What&#8217;s your favorite way to spoil your pet? Do you give your dog or cat a present at Christmas too?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What do you do when you discover a warehouse full of never used automotive fabrics from the 70’s and 80’s? Well, if you’re Kim White, you buy up the whole lot and turn them into a hip line of vintage handbags. It turns out these upholstery fabrics meant to cover the seats of a 1983 Camaro or a 1975 Chevy van are perfectly suited for handbags because they’re incredibly durable. When you buy your favorite eco-friendly style, it has a tag marking the year and make of the fabric, from say a 78’ Ford Mustang&#8230;doesn’t get any groovier than that!</p>
<p>Oh, and one more thing, you’ll never guess where Kim lives. She’s just minutes from the Peterson Automotive Museum in L.A…how fitting! All Kim White handbags are proudly made in the USA.</p>
<p>You won’t need a tag for this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/v3lps2">clutch</a>. It has CAMARO written all over it! A 1983 Camaro to be exact. This bag has a great spring frame that allows it to open and shut with a snap. The cut-out gives you the option to hold it in your hand or under your arm.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/v3lps2"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/v3/lp/v3lps2/v3lps2-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>It’s hard to find an optical print like this on a handbag! This vibrant <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4krmnq">blue with black version</a> (from a vintage 1980 Ford Mustang print) is so striking and versatile from weekend to work.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/4krmnq"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/4k/rm/4krmnq/4krmnq-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><span id="more-190"></span></p>
<p>This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mgyvd4">style</a> is a great shout out to my favorite decade, the 70’s, in style, textile and color. Brown and orange happens to be one of my favorite color combinations and so classic 1970! I love the distressed brown leather with the oversized grommets. It’s hard to believe the fabric is from a AMC! The adjustable strap goes short for just under your arm, or extends to a messenger, across your chest style.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/mgyvd4"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/mg/yv/mgyvd4/mgyvd4-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Kim also found some vintage floral upholstery fabrics from 1950 – 1970…what luck! This <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wcp5rg">yellow floral bag</a> reminds me of my grandma’s soft sofa draped with a crocheted throw! The simple shape, coupled with the contrasting dark brown leather, really shows off the funky pattern. This would look so cute with a denim and corduroy ensemble…don’t you think?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/wcp5rg"><img src="http://sc3.stylefeeder.com/thumb/wc/p5/wcp5rg/wcp5rg-200.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>You can check out her entire line and add your favorites to your StyleFeed at her <a href="http://www.kimwhitehandbags.com">site</a>.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I love jewelry but I&#8217;m a total minimalist when it comes to wearing it. If I&#8217;m wearing a necklace, I generally don&#8217;t wear earrings and vice versa. I also have an irrational fear of wearing a matching earrings and necklace set…yikes! But, thanks to Amy Tavern, I don’t need psychotherapy in order to wear any of her pieces. If you visit her <a href="http://www.amytavern.com">website</a>, you will see for yourself that her collections are a brilliant example of studied, modern simplicity.</p>
<p>Every component in her work is handmade, from her hammered circles, to the tiny balls placed on those circles. No two pieces are truly alike so you are getting a true ‘original’ from the artist/metalsmith herself.</p>
<p>You can choose from five collections on her shop page: Signature, Preface, Layered, Egg and Bean and Steel and Gold (my ab-so-lute favorite)!</p>
<p>Her SIGNATURE collection is a combination of her most popular, original pieces. I think this <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/item/yv7h0y">necklace</a> is so great for everyday, subtle yet unique:</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OK, so here’s the thing: I am a handbag designer, albeit a self-taught one. My first career using my art and design background was in the textile industry selling fabrics to manufacturers in the active sport market like The North Face, Patagonia and REI to name a few.</p>
<p>It was only after the birth of our second baby that I was truly inspired to design the first HARDWARE bag. This bag had to feel hip, and fit my new lifestyle with two toddlers in tow. Add to the mix my textile background coupled with my love of industrial and post-modern design and the first HARDWARE handbag was born. I’m now focused on slowly building our brand, while still maintaining our ‘indie’ roots.</p>
<p>So, because I’m so busy juggling my family and business I do virtually all of my shopping online. I’m inspired to buy most all of my personal and home accessories from indie designers that I admire for their original point of view. My goal is to introduce you to some of these designers that I’ve known for awhile as well as those I’ve just discovered.</p>
<p>Because we live amongst a sea of knock-off designers and logo crazy fashionistas, I want to bring to you fresh, independent design that inspires you to buck the latest trend and find your own personal ‘indie’ style. And I’m sure you’ll be able to direct me to new designers as well!</p>
