Just a little bit wild…
There comes a time in a woman’s life when she gets a bit bored with the norm when it comes to fashion. She longs to be a bit daring and wear something that really stands out in a crowd. It can be a bit intimidating to take a risk and wear something that sets you out from everyone else; will you be laughed at or considered strange just for wearing an item of clothing or accessory that no one else is?
I am one of those fashion-loving women who adores taking risks and wearing things that others don’t dare to wear. I have learned that while wearing a strange bracelet or pair of shoes may draw comments like ‘That is SO weird”, I may start a fashion trend in my local area. You have to be a bit daring from time to time or else life is boring. At least I think so.
You don’t have to go overboard and dress like a runway model but you can take one item of clothing or accessory and make it a stand-out in your outfit. Be daring but not reach the “scary zone” of dressing different head to toe.
You can wear a funky necklace when wearing a very simple outfit:

Or you can wear a really bold ring:

Wear a pair of eye-catching shoes:

Or wear a interesting blouse:

You don’t have to go to overboard, just take a little bit of a chance. Sure, some people will call what you are wearing “weird” but, you may be the woman who starts a new trend. Don’t let the worry of negative comments by others stop you from having fun with fashion.

I agree taking a risk in your wardrobe can lead to a new fashion trend. I love adding new quirky things to my wardrobe that other people might not do. I think that’s how every individual can bring out his or her own personality and this is what makes getting dressed everyday a fun experience. To be able to look around your closet after your dressed and see a cool scarf or a funkier pair of boots that will just give your outfit that uniqueness that makes it your own is so much fun. I.m 42 years young and I know there is a line that you shouldn’t cross as far as being my age and what clothing I can get away with. Believe me I try to push it as far as I can in a way as tastesfully as I can. Being a creative minded person makes it so hard to not go overboard but, I believe it can be done. I am always making mistakes buying things that I love then I put them on and realize. What in the world. I look like I’m trying way too hard to be younger. Thankfully, I have alot of nieces in thier 20″s. Ochead
I think you can still be quite daring when you are over 30. You just have to balance the daring clothing items with the right amount of “basics”. Make one daring piece the eye-catcher (or two) and not overdo it.
You are never too old to have fun with fashion..you just have to find the right balance.
Balance, I totally agree! Good advice!
