In Apple's iPhone / iPod touch ads, they aren't biased toward men. The apps you are talking about were developed by third parties and they do very specific things. The apps included on every iPod touch and iPhone are developed by Apple and they are universal. Everyone needs a map sometimes, everyone calls people, everyone needs to find a place to eat. For Apple to spend advertising money to promote an app that is not their own and would alienate a majority of their audience would be ridiculous.

However, I absolutely LOVE the style.com app… women aren't the only people interested in fashion.

omg I love those apps! My husband has the iTouch and he came home to find I had dl-ed both of those and was browsing fashion week like mad...haha
---
Added bonus to the iTouch/iPhone application. If you pinch your fingers together, place them on the screen, then drag apart, you zoom into the photo and can see all the details! Much easier than having to go to the "details" section like you do on your computer!
---
Also love the way you can flip through the looks the same way you flip through a magazine--one swipey motion and you're onto the next look.

Thatnks Tierra for blogging about a VERY important advance in fashion technology!
