Inspiration shoes: Bright heels can make the outfit
I was looking for new items to add to my stylefeed and saw these shoes:

I have always loved Christian Louboutin shoes but am not a huge fan of pink. But there is just something about these shoes that pop out at me, maybe it’s the HOT pink colour or the big bow on the toe. Whatever it is, I wish I had the cash in my bank account for them.
Then I thought, “Even if I had the cash what would I wear them with?”
Then I happened across this photo on the same site:

It answered my question. How genius of the site, Browns, to pair up the hot pink silk shoes with the green, floral print, silk, Marc Jacobs dress! I love the way the 1940s cut still manages to look modern.
Team the dress and the shoes with a black clutch:

And maybe a necklace like this one:

And you have a complete outfit that incorporates those beautiful, hot pink, shoes that are to die for!

Pink shoes & black clutch? how about pink shoes & pink clutch?
I bought these in red and have not regretted a moment. they are amazing!
@Sam, I thought pink shoes with a pink clutch would be a bit too much. I wanted the shoes to the focus piece of the outfit since they are hot pink in colour. Team it with a pink clutch and it takes away the impact of the shoes.
Just my thoughts.
I disagree Sam – matching handbag and shoes in my opinion makes you look a little dated and grandma-ish..
I LOVE clashing accessories.. But they all usually have something that ties them in to each other…
Personally I wouldn’t have used a black clutch – cause you lose it when it is with the black dress…
Maybe the colour of the green in the dress
who would have thought that a pair of cute pink shoes would go with a green dress even if the accents in the dress are pink thats awesome
Just gorgeous, I’ll skip the necklace!!
Love the shoes, love CL and love the color.
The idea of matching accessories is from a bygone time. Not necessary any longer. Mhor is right, it does look grandma-ish.
The green and pink would’ve looked good together without the accents in the dress. Complementary colors (red/green, orange/blue) almost always look great together.
I heart those shoes. I want a pair of shoes just like them to wear with my wedding dress (if you’ve seen the most recent Brides magazine cover, you’ll know exactly what I mean). I have scoured the internet for similar shoes but no luck so far. It’s not that I can’t handle the price tag and wouldn’t totally splurge but I think the height of the heel would kill me. They are so perfect…
