Indulge me: Girly treats to survive winter
Any excuse to indulge in my girly splurges is a good one — especially winter. Winter is a perfect time to celebrate the absolute-inner-princess in every woman. Here are a few of my current, must-have feminine indulgences. Oh swoon!
1. Cashmere. Must have cashmere. It’s soft and beautiful.
2. Strawberry-based perfume. I know that we are right in the middle of winter, but these scents help to ease winter blues with a sexy and summery scent. Mmm. Delicious.
Estee Lauder’s pleasures delight is a floral confection blending notes of juicy Pomegranate, whipped Strawberry Meringue and tempting Caramel with a sprinkling of Sugared Rose Petals, dewy Freesia, White Peony and Fresh Greens. How can I resist?
Yummy! The Strawberries and Champagne collection from Victoria’s Secret! Items are sold separately, starting at about $10.
3. Music. Sigh.. Here are my top girly choices:
A Fine Frenzy, is lyrical, whimsical, gorgeous, moody and wonderful. Go to www.afinefrenzy.com or at www.myspace.com/afinefrenzy for more information! My favorite tracks? Hope for the Hopeless and Rangers.
Adele. This lady is enchanting! She is the perfect soundtrack to everything wonderful and emotional. Adele’s music has a very acoustic and soft indie feel. Listen to her at www.adele.tv and www.myspace.com/adelelondon. My favorite tracks are Hometown Glory and Melt my Heart to Stone.
4. Lipgloss. Who can live without? Even better question, why would you live without it?
These glosses are so amazing. Careful…they are wonderfully kissable. Don’t get caught making out with yourself!
Check out Clinique’s Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss, about $14.
Covergirl WetSlicks Fruit Spritzers, abso-freaking-lutely-scrumptious!!!! About $8 at drugstores. My favorite flavor? Strawberry Splash. I wore this lipgloss in this picture, just so you can see what it looks like on.

5. Jammies. I love getting all dressed up to hit the town for shopping or for a night out. But, when I’m at home, it’s chill time, snuggled up in a warm robe…
…and pajamas. These are on sale for $7.99 and $5.99, respectively. What are you waiting for?
Don’t forget to pamper those footsies in the Acorn Spa Wrap Slipper, about $40.
I will be adding on to this list. What are your favorite indulgences to get through the winter months?

i adore fresh’s brown sugar body polish. it’s great for exfoliating and getting rid of dry skin. afterward, i like using jergen’s natural glow daily moisturizer.
love those acorn slippers! they look so comfy.
Marc Jacob’s Daisy is strawberry based. It’s wonderful!
Hey Jackie! Not sure if they still have it or not, but my favorite sugar scrub is fig from bath and body works. That stuff is SCRUPTIOUS, and leaves my dry and sensitive skin luxurious! Mmmm! Brown sugar products rock!
Hey Shamrock!
I’ll have to check that out! Thanks for the tip!
