Will this runway trend translate: Colorful suits?

A blogger for fashion retailer Bluefly.com, Nana breaks down the biggest trends on the curb, the catwalk & the red carpet.

The spring 2010 men’s shows presented multiple variations on the traditional suit. Tons of designers showed short pants, and/or pegged trousers and bunched up jacket sleeves for a “boyfriend” effect. Others played with jacket lengths presenting everything from zoot-lengths to cropped styles. Some sliced off the sleeves altogether creating an oversized tunic effect vaguely reminiscent of the robes African men wear, while others played with fabric – Calvin Klein went sheer while Z Zegna experimented with stripes.

But the most interesting execution to me were the Italian Ice colored suits that popped in the Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier, C.P. Company, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Moschino, and Paul Smith shows. Head-to-toe shades of Blue Gelati, Watermelon, Cherry, and Lemon Ice were surprisingly good looks. Do you agree?

Surfacing menswear trend: Colorful shoes

A blogger for fashion retailer Bluefly.com, Nana breaks down the biggest trends on the curb, the catwalk & the red carpet.

Louis Vuitton sent copper, electric blue, and green shoes marching down the runway, alternately pairing them with suits of the same hue or a contrasting color. Guys, are you feeling the bright-hued shoes? Ladies, is this a trend you want to see guys buy into?

If you are game for giving it a try, here are a few options:

Gucci red suede double tassel moccasins

Tod’s dark blue suede loafers

Tod’s mauve suede moc toe driving loafers

The neutral for spring 2010

With her photographer's eye for detail, Brie is always scoping out jewelry, handbags and shoes that perfectly complete an ensemble.

I started to notice the growing amount of nude/beige color fashion items a few months back. I overlooked this until the Golden Globes happened and almost every woman there was wearing a nude shade of gown.

The fact that so many celebrity women wore this neutral color to a huge event like the Golden Globes, cemented the fact that it is the shade for Spring 2010.

The nude shade is offered in mainly high-end fashion items at the moment:

Latest obsession: Wild (Kingdom) rings

Dina is StyleFeeder's resident marketing goddess and shopping addict, who will keep you up to date on what's new and hot with the StyleFeeder community.

Forget the vampire obsession currently gripping the country…werewolves and shapeshifters may not be the starring characters in New Moon or True Blood, but for me, these fictional humans with the ability to fully inhabit their wild side are even more intriguing.

Animal jewelry, particularly rings, seem to be popping up on lot of StyleFeeds as of late. What would your animal totem be, if you had one? What does your choice in jewelry say about your personality and alter ego?

I see this owl perched on the hand of someone simultaneously approachable but a little aloof, fiercely loyal one you get to know her, with a quiet and slightly absurdist sense of humor:

Are you a social creature who prefers running as part of a pack? You’ll want to wear this wolf ring every night, even if there’s no full moon.
